Brenda is an experienced Community Health Worker (CHW) Instructor. She started her professional path as a Promotora de Salud in the Midwest, servicing under-resourced communities. She is the CHW Manager at Connxus for their Accountable Health Communities project.

She holds an MS in Healthcare Transformation from the University of Texas at Austin, TX. Brenda’s interests include spending time with her family and friends, preferably outdoors. And shares a special bond with her pet, Jacinto.
